融侨赛德伯学校的执行校长Olly Wells的访谈实录：

作为一所寄宿制学校，我们会在晚间提供许多机会和活动，让学生通过使用英语来锻炼体育能力、发展艺术能力，此外学校也举办和引进了大量的赛事训练，帮助学生为参加中国和世界各地的大型比赛做好准备。

So we‘ve found these regulations a certainly not to be a great concern and we’ve been very pleased in some ways were ahead of many of the school，because we‘ve already been doing。This it’s not a challenge for us。Our staff have already had three years of training on how to operate in this way and it‘s very well known to our students in the community。That these are our areas that we think are particularly important are five core values starting with moral and academic。Then the physical，the social the aesthetic pay great attention to holistic broad education with opportunities for students to excel inside and outside the classroom。

Olly Wells：Okay，our school has a great deal of specialties。We are very lucky with our location。It gives us a great deal of opportunities for students to do things outside。We‘re very clean air，we near to the mountains we’re near to the sea。So we‘ve got a lot of opportunities for students，particularly the oldest students to do the duke of edinburgh exhibitions because we’re so near to those kinds of locations

charity through the Rong Qiao foundation links to our moral and our social values。

And so students have the opportunities through our annual enterprise market to raise funds for charity to help local autistic children and many other things to help the students to understand that life is much more than just academic results and financial success

you can get a great deal of pleasure from helping others and having a positive on the world。

我们学校有很多特色之处。首先是地理位置特色，当前的位置让我们的学生可以尽情探索外面的世界。这里的空气很清新，依山傍水，得天独厚。我们的高年级学生每年都会参加爱丁堡公爵奖挑战，而他们探险的地方距离我们学校比较近。

Of course，we have the high quality teachers，Chinese and western，many of the western and Chinese teachers haven come from other top international schools around China。So although we‘re a new school。We are not new in the sense of the experience of our staff and we very much believe that if you want to go to top universities，you need to be taught by teachers who went to those very same universities，and we certainly have that advantage our boarding community the family home from home atmosphere is very strong。When we were be visited by COBIS they made a very clear statement about how well established the character，our five core values were and this strong sense of family belonging in the boarding house，we were very proud to be recognized for them。

当然，我们还有一支高水平的中外师资队伍，很多中西方老师都来自中国其他顶级国际学校。所以，虽然我们是一所新学校，但我们的团队在各个方面都积累了很多经验。我们笃信，如果一个学生想进入顶尖大学，那么就需要同样毕业于顶尖大学的老师授课，我们显然具备了这个优势。

Our students are with us morning until night because we‘re boarding school，and so these regulations actually give us to some degree some kind of advantage because the children are wouldn’t be going off to training centers they wouldn‘t be going to do those activities。Because in the boarding house we already have our holistic education evening program where the students are doing sports in English。They’re doing the arts preparation for our house competitions。And so there‘s been very little impact and in many ways we’ve already been operating in the way that these new regulations require for the last three years and so it‘s been quite easy for us to adapt。
